Yup, It's Been a While!

I haven't been asleep entirely since the last post. Work time and family time has taken precedent while performing in-between.

But today is a new day! I have begun to work with the great people at Robinette's gift barn and will be the first performer at a new and exciting venue in their loft area. A wine tasting at the Robinette's Cellars will begin the evening's festivities. Then I will be performing my stand-up magic show in "The Loft". It is a perfect room for up to about 75 people.
After the show, we will motor on down the road to Carino's Restaurant for a four-course meal.

The idea of combining entertainment with a dinner is not new. What WILL be new, is that the site we've created - www.DinnerAnd.com - will be the starting place for MANY types of entertainment options that will compliment the dinner selection of the evening. I've thought for quite a while that it would be cool to join these two forms of fun and enjoyment, and add a few twists and surprises that will be sure to make for a really unique evening.

And it won't end with just the one evening. We're working on several other interesting combinations of evening events. So if one evening does not fit your style, come on back to DinnerAnd.com, and you'll be sure to see an evening that works for you! I have even written as far as the North Pole for entertainment options, and am in the works for an event that would include the one and ONLY Santa. You may find this hard to believe, but I have been working on confirming the validity of the man, and it is authentic (he sent a hair from his beard for a DNA sample, and we are currently waiting for results) Preliminary results have begun to conclude this is THE SANTA CLAUS, and is even considering a visit to Robinette's for a private storytelling party. Friend us on Facebook, and we will be happy to give you the developing story.

To say the least, we see a lot of potentially awesome events in the near future. And your thoughts are valued. Send us a note and let us know what might be a DinnerAnd theme you'd like to see. We figure if we can get Santa down toe GR for a day, we can do most anything, right?

The Card-Eating Boy

Thomas was serious he wanted to learn how to cough up cards. We both had a drink of water shortly after this lesson.

Don't know how he did it, but it was pretty cool!
The DeYoung family out for a magical evening.

Field of Dreams

Hit a bag, win the prizes in it........that invitation to all fans tonight had people lined up from the infield all the way out past right field, and near the parking lot! But why not?? Remember, you never know what you're gonna get.

One lucky Dad won a sweet BMX-type bicycle- all decked out! Many won gift certificates, memorabilia, Whitecaps shirts etc.

Northeast Little League Stars

Looking at this great group,
you must have been winners in your league!!!
Some of us enjoyed the 20 oz beers for $2 on "Thrifty Thursday".
Can you pick out which ones?

Ben, practicing the weekend pose. (BTW- Ben is in the background.)

This Famous Chicken guy is an absolute nut - he had everyone rolling!

Suggestion: Do not take your own snapshots.

A nearby fan took this photo for us. Great Shot!

The Complete Source Group

President Paul Schweitzer (glasses in back) gave me permission to entertain the team, and even obliged to gather the crew for a snapshot.

Photos by Alex Niedzwiecki

The shots taken for Star Wars Night courtesy of the best 8-year-old photographer I know- Alex Niedzwiecki - who earned a light saber for the evening's work.

Apparently, these Star Wars characters know "Jedi Authority" when they see it, and slid into the pic with Alex- ruler of all that is good, and the Force......and stuff like that.

Star Wars Night Fun...Even for Big Kids....

Matthew Sutherland from 314 Consulting-Expediting on hand to show off his terrific Red Wing hat. Matthew was at Game 1 of the Stanley Cup finals, while the rest of us were watching on TV.

What a great night at the ballpark! Even a 75 minute rain delay before the game couldn't keep the fun spilling out of everyone. And the crowd was one of the biggest of the year- looked like about 10,000 fans!
